Sunday Dinner at the Stanchfield's

John had surgery on his arm, and as he put it, he was 'pissed off' about it. So Jennie and I went down and visited. We had steaks and talked a lot. It was nice! Thanks again Peggy and John for having us down!

Here is Jennie and her Dad Cooking steaks!

John relaxes in his easy chair watching the Utah Jazz get beat:

Scary Boo

The dog sleeps with it's tongue out and it's eyes open. FREAKY!!!

Soccer

So as you may know Jennie and I are coaching Riley's Soccer Team. His team is 1-2 so far, having lost 0-4, won 3-0 (Riley scored a goal), and lost an astounding 0-7 on Tuesday. We have practice very Monday and Thursday at 6:00, and we have games every Tuesday and Saturday. Ame also plays, in a younger all girls league (Riley's team is co-ed), and her team is 1-2 also. She won her first game Tuesday, and scored 2 goals!

Here are some pictures from this Monday's practice.

Here the kids are lined up in a shooting practice:

Here I dive to stop a shot from Sarah! Look at me go!

Ame practices with us, here she is dribbling the ball

Easter Egg Hunt

On a chilly Easter we had a fun egg hunt for the kids! Here are some pictures of it!

And finally here is Jennie, watching over the whole thing!

Cinder & Churchill

Cinder is a jumper; she can jump on anything, and frequently does. She likes the trampoline, and it just looks so funny when she's up on it. Here she is on top playing her favorite game, which is baiting Churchhill underneath, who although he is twice the size of her now, can't get up on the trampoline!

Churchhill the Contortionist

Looks like he's dead, but that's just how he sleeps!

40th Birthday

I had a great birthday party at Sushi Maru last Friday! Ben and B'Andra and Tom and Jennette came and Mike was there and it was a great time. Thanks to Jennie and Ben and Tom for putting it together for me! Jennie took some photos as well, so hopefully we'll see them soon!

Weekend

This weekend we've done the following things.  Jennie has studied a lot, I worked all day on the website, you can go check my handiwork on the following link, http://www.disasternecessities.com/page/215831,  and Asher spent last night at his grandparents, Dad came to visit and said hello, and the boys went to a movie Friday night called Knowing.  Ame and I played Rock Band.  Yesterday was cold, today was warm, so we went out and had our first soccer practice.  Jennie is coaching Riley's soccer team this year, and we have our first official practice with the team tomorrow, but Riley Ame and Jennie practiced today, putting together the practice goal we got them for Christmas!  I put pork, onions, carrots, and potatoes in the slow cooker Peggy got me for Christmas, and I'm going to make a salad.  Now I'm working on the www.disasternecessities.com website, while also finishing up Chapter 22 of the Novel I'm writing with Parker Garlitz.
