January 21st, 2014 - Tuesday - Report

Jennie and I are are back from California.  We went to our friend Suzanne Wagner's wedding, and had a great time.  Northern California is a weird place though.  I'm not sure I get it.  Or like it.  It's different.  Almost feels haunted.

Back here it's cold and Riley and I spent some good time salting the driveway and hacking at ice.  Asher and I went for a run around the hill with Mabel.  Ame and Riley and I went grocery shopping.  We had Potatoes Au Gratin tonight.  Ame made the salad and prepared the fruit.  We are big into eating fruit with each meal now. It was nice.

Jennie had a long day, talked to her friend Gloria on the way home.  Being Group Manager is taking a lot of energy!  Plus she had to deal with her car breaking down at the airport for the SECOND time yesterday.  

Life is what life is, but it's been a good 2014 so far and I'm looking forward to each new day.  The kids are 1/2 way through school and Asher is starting his second semester of college.  And My Dad is back from India!
